2020 Scarecrow Trail
And the winners were.....
On behalf of Gifford Horticultural Society, our President Joe Clark thanked all those who contributed to the success of our first-ever Scarecrow Trail event by building such a marvellous selection of spectacular and original scarecrows. These were much appreciated by the huge numbers of local residents and visitors who enjoyed walking round the village. Although the taking part was what really mattered, there were also prizewinners:
Judge's Selection:
* First place went to Mr B Kind (who received a hamper donated by the Co-op)
* Second place to Freddie the Fungi Foraging Fox
* Third place to Percy the Park Keeper
The People's Choice Vote:
* First place - Freddie the Fungi Foraging Fox (who received a voucher for Hogg’s donated by Haddington Rotary)
* Second place - Worzel & Aunt Sally
* Third place - Gardenia the Gifford Giraffe
