Gardening in other communities

Visiting Linlithgow as part of their ‘Burgh Beautiful’ initiative recently, I was interested to see some of the public gardens around the town, all planted up by local people for the last two years, since the council has been unable to continue due to budget cuts. I think we're very lucky in East Lothian that public planting is still well supported by the Council.

Hand made log fencing has been created to keep the swans off this communal garden!

One of three crocodiles lurking in a lovely herbaceous border by the loch car park - could have slithered in from the loch!
