Things to do this summer holiday - children's entries for the flower show!

There are loads of ideas for children of all ages to enter in the flower show this year and to keep small (and bigger) hands busy throughout the summer holidays, including baking, crafting and painting.

Not just for children, the scarecrow competition is back again this year and you can enter as an individual, a family or how about as a local business? (who can forget Anna Mather's award winning scarecrow from 2 years ago). Entry categories are:

- Mini scarecrows (under 16yrs only) • Best dressed scarecrow • Scariest scarecrow • People’s Choice

Children are also welcome to enter in any of the industrial and horticultural categories.
